Flu season is approaching, which makes now the best time to get your flu shot.  The flu shot is the best way to prevent getting sick but takes two weeks to begin protecting, so it’s good to act early.

Pre-registration is not required. Doses will be given on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.
If you are unable to make any of the dates above, flu shots are often also available at many pharmacies and grocery stores at a low cost. Often, Medicare covers the cost of an annual flu shot as preventative care.

Of those effected by the flu, older adults are more at risk for complications due to weaker immune defenses. Though a flu shot won’t keep everyone healthy, it can reduce the severity of the illness and lessen complications.
